This episode is a perfect blend of long-distance group cycling, river travel by boat, and an unforgettable wildlife experience in Sundarban, Bangladesh. From early morning bicycle riding to cruising through mangrove waterways, this day marks the most adventurous and scenic part of our entire long ride journey.

🚴‍♀️ Morning Start: Cycling Towards Nature

Day 2 began with the familiar rhythm of pedals turning and chains moving. After completing an intense Day 1 long ride, the riders of Hemonto Riders once again mounted their bicycles with excitement and curiosity for what awaited ahead.

The morning cycling route took us through calm village roads, riverside paths, and open landscapes, offering a peaceful contrast to the physical exhaustion of the previous day. The air felt fresher, the surroundings greener, and the destination ahead made every kilometer worth it.

Group cycling once again proved its beauty—riders supporting each other, sharing water, exchanging smiles, and moving together as one team.

🚤 From Bicycle to Boat: Journey into Sundarban

After completing the cycling segment, the adventure took a dramatic turn—we transitioned from bicycles to boats.

This boat journey marked our official entry into the Sundarban, the largest mangrove forest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the boat slowly moved through narrow rivers and canals, surrounded by dense mangrove trees, the environment felt mysterious, calm, and powerful at the same time.

The sound of water, birds calling from a distance, and the quiet anticipation among riders created a truly cinematic experience.

🐒🦌🐊 Wildlife Encounters in Sundarban

One of the highlights of Day 2 – Part 5 was witnessing real wildlife in their natural habitat.

During our Sundarban exploration, we were incredibly fortunate to spot:

🐒 Monkeys jumping between trees and watching curiously from riverbanks
🦌 Deer grazing peacefully near the forest edge
🦜 Various birds, both common and rare, flying overhead and resting among the mangroves
🐊 Crocodiles, silently resting near the water, reminding us of the raw power of nature

These moments were breathtaking and humbling. Seeing wildlife so closely, yet respectfully from a distance, made us realize how special and fragile this ecosystem truly is.
