Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 and Isaiah 40:28-31
Many of us grieve losses that happen slowly—changes in our bodies, our energy, our memory, or the roles that once gave our lives direction. This week acknowledges the quiet heartbreak of diminishing strength or fading purpose and affirms that these struggles are real. Yet scripture reminds us that God carries us even when we cannot carry ourselves, and that our worth does not shrink with our abilities. In our vulnerability, grace becomes more visible. In our limitation, community becomes more essential. And in every season of change, God remains faithfully present, renewing us in ways deeper than the body and steadier than our circumstances.
