Set in 1935, an LNER K2 no. 4652 was tasked with taking express goods. The engine was very displeased while shunting due to the crew coming to the shed nearly late, about 5 minutes. As they were travelling, the engine somehow picked up speed, and the driver was unable to slow or stop him, causing the engine to run uncontrollably and colliding with the back of a slow goods train that was about to clear the line for the K2. As a result, the crash delayed all of the train services to clean up the mess.
