Lead counsel Nicholas Kaufman also claims more people have died since President Bongbong Marcos took office.


But the data Kaufman cited to support this allegation is allegedly misrepresented according to data source 'Dahas Project' of the University of the Philippines Third World Studies Center.


Meanwhile, Malacañang says the president does not support a violent war on drugs and respects due process.


Duterte's defense moves to have the complaint re-submitted, the charges of crimes against humanity — murder and attempted murder — dismissed, and Duterte temporarily released.
