We take a POV ride on an O&K Travelator (rare type RSK-1000) at the Departures 3 area of Schiphol Airport - these go from beside where arrivals exits into, and the area of the railway station upto the level for check in and departures. There are 2 of these (the left hand one is here - • Amsterdam Schiphol Airport - 1x O&K Travel... ) and 2x 2004 Kone Travelators too slightly further along - • Amsterdam Schiphol Airport - 1x KONE Trave...
They run really well and have lasted brilliantly in an area with such high traffic usually. They were built in 1992 at the Hattingen, Germany 🇩🇪 factory and are original in terms of running gear ⚙️ with the only alterations being done by KONE recently (they changed the landing plates and comb teeth to the current TransitMaster style ones).
