Gary is a former wilderness outfitter and hunting guide with extensive experience in guiding for trophy mule deer, elk, blue grouse, pheasants, chukar, and waterfowl. He was one of the top fly-fishing guides on the Roaring Fork River between Aspen and Carbondale. Today Gary and his wife, Doris, live on a 118-acre hay farm and horse ranch near Crawford, Colorado.

Gary has been honored by the Realtors Land Institute with the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, which denotes a higher level of competency with complex transactions such as grazing permits, conservation easements, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, transitional land, and land investment analysis.

Gary and his team have listed and sold vineyards and wineries, orchards, farms, hunting land, ranches, B&B inns, resorts, outfitting businesses, vacant land, country estates, and luxury homes all across Colorado and Utah, with notable sales in places such as Steamboat Springs, Telluride, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Durango, and other lesser-known locales all across Colorado and Utah.

A native of Carbondale, Colorado, Gary was born and raised on the Western Slope. He is an expert horseman, fly-fisherman, big game hunter, skier, and dog handler. He and Doris raise hay, horses, and Labrador retrievers on their Crawford ranch. As a location scout, animal wrangler, and production manager, Gary has worked on commercials and photo shoots for companies such as Izod, UnderArmour, Bushnell, Coors, Marlboro, Ralph Lauren Chaps, Victoria's Secret, and many more.
