In this video, I am chatting with @ShanayBraxton about her experience living abroad in Morocco from the perspective of a Peace Corps volunteer. Shanay moved to Morocco in 2016 with 110 other Peace Corps volunteers. She volunteered for 2 yrs and 3 months, teaching English.
Her favorite experiences were with the amazing Moroccan families she lived and spent most of her time with. Plus the opportunity to travel around the country. A hobby she picked up as a volunteer was designing and creating Moroccan leather backpacks. The most memorable experience of all was meeting and marrying her love, a Senegalese businessman. Morocco will always be a place she calls home.
