We promote diversity with women at work on our tugs! Atlantic Towing Limited (ATL) recently hosted local media for a Halifax harbour tour during a shift of the AtlanticWillow's all-female crew.
Skipper Andrea MacDonald, captain of the Atlantic Willow, said when she was in high school she thought working on a boat meant either a fishing boat or in the Navy – I didn’t realize there were more opportunities in the commercial world.”
