Woman's Body Found in Suspicious Circumstances at Koraput Forest Hill Near RTO Office; Family Alleges Murder & Hanging

A woman's body was recovered in suspicious condition from the Nagar Ban Pahad forest area in front of the Koraput RTO office on National Highway 26 (Koraput-Jeypore road). The deceased has been identified as Padma Bhui from local Sindhu Nagar. Family members have alleged that Padma was murdered and then hanged from a tree. Koraput Town Police, along with Forest Department officials, reached the spot and launched an investigation; post-mortem and further probe are underway to determine the exact cause of death.
