Описание: This exercise is a great way to help someone with low back pain by activating the muscles on the front of the body (anterior) to potentially help balance a more biased lumbar extension. I like this activity because it gets the person out of the extended position and helps to flex the spine a bit. Lying on the floor will also give some feedback to the person to feel the flattened lumbar spine engage a solid surface. I usually recommend 6-10 reps per side as long as it's pain-free. Remember, keep that low back relatively flat as you move each extremity. Consult a medical professional to make sure these exercises are appropriate for you!
