Just a brief video showing the custom mounting bracket that we designed and manufactured which accepts the Phantom 2 Vision camera. With this gimbal installed on the Phantom 2 Vision airframe, we are consistently getting 14-19 minute flight times with the Vision camera transmitting video via 2.4GHz wi-fi to the android/iPhone app.
Out of the box, the Phantom 2 Vision is a powerful still photography machine, but the built-in single-axis servo-driven stabilization leaves much to be desired for those who want to shoot usable video. Our gimbal eliminates this roadblock, allowing buttery smooth video to be shot with the stock Vision camera.
We just got back from testing prototypes in Indonesia, so test footage will be posted shortly.
