This video explains how to use double-proportionate distance measurement to find the field coordinates of a lost section corner of the Public Lands Survey System. Double-proportionate measurement is simply single-proportionate measurement of the northing on the vertical line and single-proportionate measurement of the easting on the horizontal line.
