Communal violence against Hindus in Bangladesh has reportedly intensified, with another killing adding to growing concerns over minority safety. In the latest incident, a Hindu youth identified as Mithun Sarkar died in the Mohadevpur area of Naogaon district in northern Bangladesh. According to police, Mithun was allegedly chased by a group following a theft accusation, during which he jumped into a water body and later died. His body was recovered by the Fire Service, a post-mortem has been completed, and investigation is ongoing, police said.
