We are kicking off the new year with our 2025 season recap and season 1 of our US coaster tour at a park at six flags over Georgia...but stay tuned for full park tours of Carowinds, Kings Island, Cedar Point, Six Flags over Texas both regular season and fright fest events.


But this park a massive place in theme park history: Six Flags Over Georgia. This trip was extra special because it was our first official family episode.

From the moment we walked through the gates of this 1967 classic, we knew we were in for a legendary day. Join me, Tricia, and the boys (Parker, Brooks, and Brady) as we take on the best of the ATL!

In This Episode:
Goliath: Taking on the 200-foot hypercoaster that dominates the park's skyline. Did you know it actually travels outside the park boundaries?

Twisted Cyclone: We check out the RMC transformation of the classic Georgia Cyclone.

The Great American Scream Machine: Riding a piece of history! This wooden classic was the tallest and fastest in the world when it opened in 1973.

Mind Bender: Experiencing one of the last remaining Anton Schwarzkopf masterpieces.

SFOG Fun Facts & History:

A Pioneer: Opened in 1967, SFOG was the second park ever built by the Six Flags company.

The "Six Flags" Meaning: The name refers to the six different nations that have governed Georgia: Spain, France, Great Britain, the United States, the Confederate States, and the State of Georgia.

Riverview Carousel: Take a close look at the carousel! It’s a 1908 Five-Abreast machine moved here from Chicago’s famous Riverview Park.
