Deep Engraving Tight Radius Objects, Brass & Bronze with a Fiber Laser. Ex Ruger mkIV Compatib Upper

Описание: If you have ever tried to use the rotary settings from other tutorials on an object with a tight radius, you've probably been extremely frustrated. If you've used them to try and deep engrave on your rotary, you've probably been extremely frustrated. That's because all those other tutorials are focused on simply removing paint from large diameter objects like tumblers. In the few cases they do focus on actually engraving into a right radius object, like a ring, it's almost always text. Text is a non-continuous design and therefore each letter can become it's own split and with the flick of a single setting on the Start menu, and you're still on easy-mode for engraving.

This video will show you the best results I've ever gotten, and how I got them, for when you need to deep engrave a design which wraps around a fairly small object. In this case, it is a 1" diameter bearing bronze tube that I CNC milled into a Ruger mkIV compatible upper receiver. I will be engraving tentacles that reach up from the bottom and wrap around it because the grip frame this attaches to is called the Cthulhu by Tandemkross.
Doing it this way, as you will see, takes more time and includes some manual effort. However, the results using this method create a much smoother floor than you would otherwise be able to get. So it is definitely worth the effort if quality results are your goal.
