At the end of this session, participants will be able to: identify the impact of Post COVID-19 Condition on Mental Health
among patients and families; describe appropriate steps for the diagnosis of Mental Health conditions and management as part of PCC; and integrate CAN-PCC Guidelines related to Mental Health into healthcare practice.

23. Should selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) versus no SSRIs or SNRIs be used for the prevention of post COVID-19 condition?

GT4:

2. Should screening versus no screening be used for depression in adults with suspected or diagnosed post COVID-19 condition?

3. Should screening versus no screening be used for anxiety in individuals with suspected or confirmed post COVID-19 condition?

15. Should melatonin in addition to standard sleep hygiene versus sleep hygiene advice only be used for managing sleep disturbances in patients with post COVID-19 condition?

Good Practice Statement:

Health care professionals should inquire about limitations in daily activity and quality of life, on an ongoing basis, for people with diagnosed or suspected Post COVID-19 Condition (PCC) who experience symptoms.
