Local Perthshire competitors in the Flora MacDonald's Fancy Highland Dance competition during the 2022 Kenmore Highland Games. These are held by Loch Tay at Kenmore in Perthshire, the only evening Highland Games in Scotland.
Flora MacDonald helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape to the Isle of Skye on his way to France in 1746, after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden. Such heroism won her the admiration of the Scottish people who honoured her in this dance.
