Описание: This trip occurred in June of 2024, in the amazing New River Trail State Park. A couple of friends joined us for a bikepacking trip over two days. We camped at the Cliffview campground the first night and Foster Falls campground the second night before riding to a waiting shuttle vehicle at Fries Virginia. Fries is located at the end of a 5 mile long spur trail off of the New River trail. There are 57 bridges and 2 tunnels located along the New River trail. Be sure to check the park's website before planning a trip here since bridge maintenance is often required during the warmer months, causing trail closures or detours. This park and trail are highly recommended for it's great, continuous beauty.
