Описание: The last day in Saigon!

Started off with an intense craving of Bun Rieu. Since I was over in Binh Thanh, and I knew I couldn’t pass up a name like “Beautiful Auntie” I had to give this place a try. Rich, thick, intense crab flavor with a touch of sweet, this bun rieu will feed more than your stomach, it will feed your soul. Soft, tender crab cakes, perfectly cooked snails, and a delicious cha cay make for a delicious bun rieu in Binh Thanh.

Next, I wanted something fried and decadent. I decided to look for bot chien, but bot chien with a twist. I found a place that does the bot chien with ha cao, a dim sum item that you can commonly find on the streets of Saigon in areas like district 5. Unique forsure and I would say you have to try this if you have never had it before.

Final meal, grilled meat, banh mi, and lots of butter sweet sauce. I wish I knew more about this meal, but something tells me I will have many more opportunities to learn about it as I will return time and time again.

And not to forget, a little sweet treat. Little indeed as I just got a couple Banh su que to finish off this final day in Saigon.
