This video will explain in super-layman's terms the differences between solar powered quartz, battery powered quartz, and automatic/mechanical watches and what to basically know before buying your first watch. I also explain why your brand new mechanical watch is off by several seconds per day and everybody seems just fine with that.
The most desirable watches for most people are solar powered quartz offerings from @citizenwatchglobal or @iloveSEIKO followed by battery powered quartz offerings from companies such as @TISSOT @midowatches or @hamiltonwatch. For those who want to get into mechanical movements on the cheap, I recommend @islandwatch as an inexpensive way to dip your toe into this hobby that can quickly consume thousands of dollars.
