Discovering Metal Bands from Argentina: 9 Essential Albums That Shaped the Scene

Описание: In this episode of Discovering Metal Bands from Around the World, we travel to Argentina, a country with one of the most passionate and resilient metal scenes in South America.
This video was requested by Hector, the chill dude on a couch, and since this is my first time covering Argentina, I kept things simple. I chose one album per band, often debut albums, based on a basic search to get a general sense of the most important and influential metal bands from the country.
These albums span traditional heavy metal, speed metal, thrash metal, groove metal, and 90s-era aggression, many of them created during or shortly after Argentina’s military dictatorship. Some albums are raw and underground, others more polished and melodic, but all of them played a role in shaping Argentina’s metal identity.
This is not meant to be a definitive list — it’s a starting point.
