INTRODUCING 'KA'REN | ST170 TURBO RWD POWERED TUBE BUILD

Описание: Here she is 'KA'ren's first brief walk around for the channel.

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen this already and probably have questions on my sanity but if you havent its ok to worry about me because yes 'KA'ren is going to be fully mental!

This is a genuine DJM kitted Mk1 Ford KA painted Imperial Blue and has perspex windows thats it...it was stored for many years in a warehouse collecting dust until the owner contacted me and as they say the rest is history.

The loose plan right now which of course is going to slip and slide a bit but for now the things that are solid is she will be RWD, she will have an ST170 turbo motor, she will be running an RX8 box, prob and rear diff, she will be mostly tubular built so i can make her exactly what I want and have inboard rear suspension somehow tying into the cage.

I want something here between a time attack build huge spoiler cage mounted, massive splitter, diffuser etc and something that it streetable if needed because who doesn't love traffic light grand prix and watching people feel sorry for you because you're in a KA only to leave them for dead and no chance of catching you 😂

I plan to fully scan the shell and design everything in ‪@adskFusion‬ before the first cut with the grinder so i know the geometry is right, i have a strict build plan and i can have as much of the tube, gussets or anything possible prefab, CNC cut to aid speed of the build and accuracy.

I plan to start the scanning work end of this year and then hit the design in anger all while i'm collecting parts in the back ground so once i start its flat out until completion 😎
