In Hong Kong, rice porridge is one of the most popular breakfast items. I love having a bowl with a side of fried rice noodles. It is a golden combination. The mildly flavored, warm rice porridge and the savory, but a bit dry, rice noodles complement each other perfectly.
I cannot make this every day (only when I have enough time on Sundays), but that makes it extra special for me. It is also great, when you have a cold.
