Israel reportedly conducted an overnight raid in Lebanon searching for Ron Arad, the Israeli pilot who disappeared after bailing out of his plane over Lebanon in 1986.
The operation was unsuccessful.
The raid took place in eastern Lebanon’s Nabi Sheet to search for traces of missing pilot Ron Arad — but Israeli forces later confirmed it found no remains or evidence and withdrew, as intense clashes and bombardments shook the area.
