In this episode we redesign the Portofino 47 into a 52 foot boat and make significant changes to the hull shape to improve performance and increase the ease at which she can rise up out the water to overcome the displacement hull speed. We also discuss how flybridges negatively affect performance and have to decide if we are happy to sacrifice that for better performance....

So this all means that the only outstanding factor is to get confirmation of the boats performance so we look into the process for getting VPPs (Velocity Performance Program) or Polars done to get an accurate idea of what she will do on the water....
