I love The Batman and can’t wait for the sequel, but I don’t think forcing Pattinson’s version into the DCU is the right move. In this video, I break down why his grounded, detective-focused Batman works best in its own universe, why the DCU needs a more fantastical Batman, and how James Gunn’s plans for Batman and Robin with Damian Wayne make things even more complicated.
