Ukraine Receives Consignment of Weapons from Britain

Описание: Ukraine received another consignment of weapons from Britain Wednesday, following a commitment made in January to supply Ukraine with light anti-armor defensive weapon systems and personnel to provide training.

The weapons are not strategic and are intended to be used in self-defense, Britain said.

Britain said that any Russian incursion into Ukraine would trigger unprecedented sanctions against Russian companies and people with close links to the Kremlin.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will visit Poland and NATO headquarters in Brussels on Thursday, amid tensions over the security situation in Ukraine.
