The band's first show ever in Belgium will not be forgotten anytime soon. It was awesome!

As if it wasn't hot enough in 'Hell', Eskröta raised the temperature even higher with a very explosive, brutal, energetic and rarely seen thrash metal show.

Many people didn't know Eskröta, I myself have been following them online for a number of years and had hoped to see them perform in Belgium. Erik Depooter brought the band to his Club Hell, for which many thanks.

The concert of this power trio was extraordinary, and exceeded all expectations. The synergy between frontwoman Yasmin (vocals and guitar) and Tamy (bass and backing vocals), fueled by the pounding drummer Jhon, was simply magnificent.

Belgium has embraced Eskröta, and vice versa. ‘We haven’t left Belgium yet and we already miss it’, Yasmin concluded at the end of the show.

Eskröta is a Brazilian metal band formed in 2017 in Rio Claro/São Carlos, in the state of São Paulo. The band consists of Yasmin Amaral - ‘Ya Exodus’ (guitar and vocals), Jhon França (drums) and Tamy Leopoldo (bass and backing vocals).

Eskröta is known as a power trio and plays an energetic mix of thrash metal and hardcore punk, which places them in the crossover genre.

Their music is characterized by heavy riffs, fast drum beats and emotionally charged, powerful vocals. The lyrics are often socially critical, with themes such as feminism, anti-fascism and social resistance, which contributes to their recognizable identity within the metal scene. They address current social issues and speak out against inequality and oppression.

Eskröta’s performances are known for their raw energy and are popular with fans who enjoy an intense moshpit experience.

The band has several releases to their name, including the EP “T3rror” (2022) and the albums “Atenciosamente, Eskröta” (2023) and “Blasfêmea” (2025).

Eskröta has played at several festivals, including Festival Abril Pro Rock (2019), Rock in Rio (2024) and Knotfest São Paulo (2024), and regularly shares the stage with other well-known metal bands. Although they are not yet signed to a major label, they have built a loyal fanbase and received positive reviews from the metal community.
