Its stamina plays a significant role in its behavior. When fatigued, Lagombi may slip and fall during its slides, making it an opportune time for hunters to strike. If it is low on stamina near a Bnahabra nest, it will dig up food hidden beneath the snow to regain energy. When critically injured, it limps away instead of sliding, signaling its weakened state.

The name "Lagombi" is derived from the Greek word lagos, meaning "hare," with the suffix "-mbi" added to give it a softer, cuter sound. Its ears can be broken during a hunt, offering extra rewards. This similarity in auditory vulnerability connects Lagombi to monsters like Yian Kut-Ku, as both can be stunned by Sonic Bombs when not enraged.

Elemental weaknesses further define Lagombi's combat traits. It is most susceptible to Fire and Thunder elements, making weapons imbued with these elements ideal for taking it down. Hunters aiming to topple it should time their Sonic Bomb throws carefully, especially while it slides across the icy ground.
