after the trip it came to my attention that Disney profits off a lot of things I don’t support - like the silence on/the avoidance of supporting Palestine, ties to the israeli government, donations to anti-immigrant and anti-lgbtq lawmakers, and underpaying workers. and probably a lot more tbh.

i think it’s ok for me to share joyful memories while also acknowledging the bigger picture, especially when my values don’t align with those of a huge company with a lot of power + with everything going on in the world right now 😵‍💫
