Warlock Quest 5.2: Kanrethad Ebonlocke - Boss Guide

During the RP at the start pop DS & any trinkets as well as potting and nuke as hard as you can. You can even use Doomguard for that part, although it depends on the situation you get in to later on in the fight so you can determine when to use it for yourself.

As you control the Pit Lord, constantly use Demonic Siphon, if you can foresee a Chaos Bolt incoming then top yourself up with that/Ember Tap/Healthstone and then proceed to using Sacrificial Pact for more absorption in line with Twilight Ward.

Those pesky little imps that I gain at times in the fight comes from the seed the boss applies to you, try and use the Pit Lords 'Fel Flame Breath' as much as you can on yourself to get rid of it, as well as Agony, before the timer runs out, otherwise you'll get the Annoying Imp- which can interrupt your casting and be severely punishing.

Also to note during the start of the fight, use the Pit Lords Charge to halt his Doom casts, the later they get applied, the more time you give yourself if you're a little slower on DPS(7 minute debuff). Once you gain this debuff save all Charges for when he uses Cataclysm, nothing else.

Wild Imps: Have your Pit Lord Fel Flame Breath these, stun them and simply AoE them down. You can use your gateways to drop aggro on them.

Felhunters: Banish one (I banished the first spawn), and when the other two come in, pop DS, apply Havoc to one and Chaos Bolt the pair down. Then simply unbanish the remaining Fel Hunter and nuke it asap. Be careful with these as they can dispel your Enslave Demon. The Pit Lords Charge is useful on them as they come through the portal.

Doom Lord: Just banish it and proceed to nuke the boss.

NOTE: The boss will cast Chaos Bolt throughout each of these phases so be on your toes.
