How Do You Become A Gym Leader? - Pokémon Theory

Have you ever wondered how Gym Leaders get their positions? Gym leaders are highly prestigious trainers who encounter willing and able challengers looking to advance to the Pokemon League. In total, there have been 51 gyms and 58 gym leaders in total throughout the entire main series of the Pokemon games. For some of those 58 gym leaders we learn of how they’ve gotten positions, but for a majority of them we’re left in the dark on exactly who they are and how they got their jobs.
