The St John River HD

Описание: The St John River was danced at a Ball in November 2017 run by Melbourne Colonial Dancers.
The musicians were Matthew Robinson and Friends.
The Dance Instructions are :
THE ST JOHN RIVER
Strathspey: 32X4 bars Longways set of 4 couples
The Chase:
8 bars: 1st Lady castes followed by her partner weave
between the lines, finish improper below 4th couple.

Whirlpools:
2 Bars: 1st couple join hands and pass under arch made by the fourth couple.

4 bars: 1st couple 2 hand turn 1 ½ times

2 bars: 1st couple dance under arch made by 2nd couple

Reverse falls:
8 Bars: 1st couple face down and lead down the middle (4 bars)
followed by all other cpls, 4th cpl (as soon as they touch) back to place followed by all other couples

River meets sea:
4 bars: Do-si-do partners
4 bars: 1st couple face down wend their way down their own sides to the bottom starting 1/2 right hand turn with 2’s, Left hand with 3’s, right hand with 4’s.

The dance begins again
