This episode summarises the background to the game James and I presented at Salute 52 in London in April 2025. It also includes a photo gallery of the game in progress. The Battle of Pirmasens was a significant victory for the Prussians led by the Duke of Brunswick, the foremost soldier in Europe at the time. The game uses Black Powder rules and uses almost 600 figures and 41 guns. The figures are 15mm figures from Chariot Miniatures, Miniature Figurines and Irregular Miniatures. The terrain is built using the Kallistra Hexon system together with Timecast road and stream sections.
