We managed to head out with two of our customers to the FADS located off Rottnest in some fantastic weather. It didn't take long to start getting stuck into some nice mahi mahi on a combination of live baits and casting lures. We moved around to a number of FADS and whilst moving between each FAD we saw plenty of schools of striped tuna busting up which was great fun on light tackle. One of the schools of tuna surrounded the boat and there was hundreds of fish everywhere, you didn't even need to retrieve the lure when you cast. Another great days fishing off Perth Metro!
