In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts you play as a sniper for hire who is hired by a secretive employer who gives you a few contracts in Siberia during their civil war. Through the game you will progress and gain access and funds to better equipment to help you through your various missions. Each contract takes place in open areas with multiple objectives that you can complete in any order and use any equipment that you have access to. Each Contract is connected with some story and meaning behind each target and objective.
