With a current membership of over 500 Portland area artists, Urban Art Network, run entirely by artist volunteers, produces the renowned First Thursday Street Gallery. The monthly Street Gallery is free to attend and can draw an audience of more than 10,000 people.
In 2020 we will commemorate our 20th anniversary with a purposeful celebration designed to directly benefit a diversity of Portland-area artists and non profit arts organizations. This celebration will be a multi-cultural, multi-discipline festival of arts.
Your donation will support the addition of installations, performance and music accompanying our traditional visual artists’ booths next season. Together with Portland Arts non-profits including Polaris, PHAME, Bravo Youth Orchestra, The Portland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Portland Youth Philharmonic, and Portland Center Stage we will present seven festival-style events along NW 13th Street.
