The Ramayana is an epic that has been transported and transplanted into various languages and cultures. There are different culture specific rendition of Rama Katha, where the character of Rama stands out as virtuous, righteous and noble. This film is a journey through the North East, where irrespective of cultural and racial differences, Rama's story has been accepted and at times rewritten, to adopt their own social and cultural milieu.
