Описание: SIP loss mein hai aur market down hai? Should you stop your SIP, continue investing, or increase it during a market crash?
In this beginner-friendly video, we explain what actually happens to your Mutual Fund SIP when the stock market falls — using simple examples, real numbers, NAV and Rupee Cost Averaging.
If your mutual fund portfolio is showing a loss and you’re confused about whether to stop SIP, continue SIP, increase SIP or invest extra money, this video will help you understand the decision logically instead of reacting to a red portfolio.
📌 Simple SIP Example
Suppose you invest:
₹3,000 every month
Month 1:
NAV = ₹100
₹3,000 ÷ ₹100 = 30 units
Market falls.
Month 2:
NAV = ₹60
₹3,000 ÷ ₹60 = 50 units
Market falls further.
Month 3:
NAV = ₹50
₹3,000 ÷ ₹50 = 60 units
Total Investment = ₹9,000
Total Units = 140
Average Buying Price ≈ ₹64.29
This is the basic idea behind Rupee Cost Averaging — when prices fall, the same SIP amount can buy more units.
But there is an important catch.
At NAV ₹50:
140 units × ₹50 = ₹7,000
You invested ₹9,000, so your portfolio can still be in loss.
That means:
More units ≠ Guaranteed profit
SIP does not remove market risk.
In this video, we cover:
✅ SIP loss mein ho toh kya karein?
✅ Should you stop SIP during a market crash?
✅ Should you continue SIP when the market is falling?
✅ Market fall mein SIP increase karni chahiye?
✅ What is Rupee Cost Averaging?
✅ NAV explained with a simple example
✅ Why lower NAV gives you more units
✅ Portfolio red hona vs investment wrong hona
✅ Market crash mein SIP double karna sahi hai?
✅ Salary and cash flow ka SIP se connection
✅ Extra money ho toh lump sum invest karein?
✅ Can anyone predict the market bottom?
✅ Beginner ko market fall mein kya check karna chahiye?
✅ Goal and time horizon ka importance
✅ Different Mutual Fund categories and risk
✅ Emergency Fund before increasing SIP
✅ Common SIP mistakes beginners should avoid
SIP STOP KARNE SE PEHLE YE CHECK KARO
Sirf market red hai isliye SIP stop karna ya continue karna decide mat karo.
First check:
1. Goal
Aap kis purpose ke liye invest kar rahe ho?
2. Time Horizon
Paisa 1 year mein chahiye ya 10–15 years baad?
3. Fund Type
Index Fund, Large Cap, Mid Cap, Small Cap, Debt Fund ya Hybrid Fund?
4. Cash Flow
Kya aap SIP comfortably afford kar sakte ho?
Different goals and different mutual funds have different levels of risk.
SHOULD YOU INCREASE SIP WHEN MARKET FALLS?
Market girte hi ₹3,000 SIP ko ₹10,000 kar dena automatically smart move nahi hota.
For example:
Salary = ₹50,000
Monthly Expenses = ₹35,000
Existing SIP = ₹3,000
Agar market fall dekhkar suddenly SIP ₹10,000 kar di, but next month insurance, credit-card bill or emergency expense aa gaya, your monthly cash flow can become difficult.
So instead of asking:
“Market kitna gira?”
Ask:
“Main comfortably kitna invest kar sakta hoon?”
A planned Step-Up SIP is different from increasing investments emotionally because the market is falling.
WHAT IF THE MARKET RECOVERS?
In our example, you have:
140 units
Current NAV = ₹50
Current Value = ₹7,000
Purely for illustration, suppose NAV someday goes back to ₹100:
140 × ₹100 = ₹14,000
Total Investment = ₹9,000
The reason the value becomes larger is that you accumulated more units when prices were lower.
But this is only an educational example.
There is no guarantee that a particular mutual fund, stock market index or NAV will recover to any specific level.
