The MHI LNG Solution provides a significant reduction in total installed cost through the economy of scale of the 100 MW class H-100 gas turbine and the Mitsubishi matched refrigeration compressors. Footprint reduction and elimination of a large number of connections adds further benefits. This new product also provides flexibility for phased expansion developments in 3.0 mtpa.
Simplification of the train is a major benefit of the H-100 two-shaft gas turbine. This gas turbine starts easily and does not require the complexity of helper motors and associated VFDs. The H-100 starts the compressors at full settle-out pressures, eliminating flaring, and has a wide speed range, maximizing LNG production.
