More than 170 people have been forced to evacuate after a massive fire tore through a neighbourhood in south-western Japan.
Residents of the Saganoseki district of Oita city fled to an emergency shelter after the blaze broke out during strong winds around 5:40pm on Tuesday and spread to more than 170 homes.
The Fire and Disaster Management Agency said one person was still missing while the cause of the fire is under investigation
