Logan: I expected dry and woody, but was pleasantly surprised to find the voice is all smooth edges and round trebles, very bell-like and sonorous. Really I had just as much fun with a pick as with fingerstyle. The response remains clear and precise across the registers, and the setup is glass smooth.
2018 Collings 0001-MH built entirely from beautifully figured Honduran Mahogany. An all-hardwood guitar that defies expectations, delivering complex tone, strong projection, and an excellent feel in hand. Abalone trim with otherwise minimal appointments. A standout medium-sized fingerstyle guitar at an approachable price point.
