On Tuesday June 14th I saw another Giant Western Pacific Tugboat head through the Seattle Boat Locks. This Giant Western Pacific Tugboat was different than the ones you have seen in previous videos. This one was called the Alaskan Mariner. I also saw a big Fishing Trawler called the Defender. She is 170 feet long and 40 feet wide. Her home port is Dutch Harbor Alaska, and she was just in a shipyard on Lake Union. She was at the same Shipyard where the Cornelia Marie was last year. Now the Defender is docked near the Cruise Ship Terminal on Puget Sound. This Fishing Trawler vessel has hydraulic rope pullers to help the boat when it comes in for when it is docking.
