Protests against the CAA were also conducted by the Assamese community of Shillong today.
Members of the Assamese Shillong Socio-Culture Association held a sit in demonstration along with the support of the Khasi Students Union at the Assam Kristi Kendra at Dhankheti.
Protesters were seen holding placards and chanting slogans while denouncing the contentious Act and also demanding for the implementation of the ILP in Meghalaya.
