Описание: Individuality is a necessary part of identity. When we make sexuality (or sex/gender, race, etc.) our identity, we encourage tribalism over Individuality and may become reliant on constant external validation from the tribe or society in general to feel “worthy” or connected to ourselves. This occurs because we have neglected the necessary step of cultivating an Inner identity, made up of personal values, moral impulses, cosmic memory, deep spiritual connection, etc., and instead projected an illusion of “identity” onto a fixed external trait or experience. This is no different from idolatry. These traits may influence how we express our Individuality, but making them the sole expression, or conflating them entirely with our Identity, is anti-individual and often leads to highly fragmented behavior. That said, it is currently one of the most common and potent forms of spiritual bypassing.
