So, having wrist pain when doing push ups or planks is something I regularly get questions about. Mainly because I believe it makes people feel they must be doing something wrong.
However, have a look at the video and learn whether it's just a weakness or something more. I also offer a few adapted positions for those people who cannot do pushups without any wrist pain.
As mentioned, Pilates is great for building bone strength - including in your wrists. It's the best anti-ageing workout out there, especially if you keep true to the Pilates technique (which is what I'm all about).
