iPeskadót yan iPesadót is a fishing history video series depicting the "TRADITION" of fishing in Micronesia. The first partition of eight in the series, "TRADITION," presents a few who fish, the age that they learned how to fish and who taught them the "TRADITION" of fishing.
In "TRADITION," they discuss methods of fishing they practice and how they disseminate their catch. The title is a play on words; peskadót is the CHamoru word for a hunter on land or sea, and pesadót is the CHamoru word for scale or a weighing machine. iPeskadót-fisherman and his scale or distribution process. It is produced by CHamoru historian, author, and MARC research associate, Rlene Santos Steffy.
