If you ever wondered what it would be like to drive through the countryside and towns of Chiapas, Mexico, this is for you.
We spent the day accompanying our HelpX host Carolina to the nearby town of Arriaga. She needed to get her car worked on by her friend there and we were happy to come along for the ride to see somewhere new. We got to see the beautiful landscape between Tonalá and Arriaga plus the array of roadside stands and restaurants along the way.
Mexico has proven to be a very vibrant and community centered place! From the shops to the markets to drinking the finest tequila in a new acquaintance's home because "mí case es tú casa." Chiapas has been an interesting and welcoming place so far!
