Maduro is gone and the next phase is now underway. Chevron, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips. All of them sent their top executives to the White House. These are companies that were robbed twice in Venezuela. Their assets were seized. Their investments were stolen. And for decades previous administrations did absolutely nothing. Now President Trump is putting them back in the game. He said it plainly. America built Venezuela’s oil industry with American skill, technology, know-how and dollars. Those assets were stolen outright. Now we are doing everything about it. Actually he said we are doing 500 percent about it.

The departure of Maduro makes an incredible future possible for both nations. One of the things America gets out of this is even lower energy prices. That is the deal. American companies rebuild. America benefits. At least 100 billion dollars will be invested to rebuild the entire oil infrastructure. Secretary Rubio confirmed that every penny Venezuela makes from oil will be spent buying American products. Equipment for the oil industry. Food. Medicine. Everything in between.

Vice President JD Vance spelled it out clearly. For his entire lifetime presidents would send the American military to far off places and get us involved in endless quagmires. They would lose hundreds or thousands of American lives and the American people would get nothing out of these misadventures. Now you have an American president who empowered the military to stop the flow of drugs and ensure that America controls one of the great energy reserves in the entire world. He did it without losing a single American life. It is going to make our country richer. It is going to make our country more powerful. It is going to make our country safer. And it is going to lead to the decline of drug overdose deaths in the United States of America.

ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods confirmed they have a very long history in Venezuela going back to the 1940s. They have had their assets seized twice. He said significant changes have to be made to the commercial frameworks and legal system. But he is confident that with this administration working hand in hand with the Venezuelan government those changes can be put in place. ConocoPhillips CEO Ryan Lance called it a big and bold idea to use energy commerce instead of conflict. Secretary Wright said the first increase in activities will come from companies already there and Venezuelans who work for American companies will be returning home.

Meanwhile the Coast Guard just seized another Ghost Fleet tanker in the Caribbean. The fifth ship intercepted in Operation Southern Spear. The crackdown is accelerating. Trump revealed they have knocked out 97 percent of drugs coming in by water. Cuba is losing its lifeline. Trump said Cuba totally relies on Venezuela for money and oil in exchange for protection. That does not work anymore. Trump said he thinks Cuba is going to fail.

The old order is collapsing. The drug pipeline is being severed. Energy prices are falling. American companies are reclaiming what was stolen decades ago. This is peace through strength in action.
