Most of the soils in Pakistan have higher pH values and have basic characters. Fertilizers like dap fertilizer (diammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate fertilizer) have also lower pH value. So, basic character of our soils is not changing. There is a need of using fertilizers having lower pH values. But those fertilizers are so much costly that even an average farmer can not afford those effective fertilizers. What can we do for our crops? In this video, I have suggested a smart chemical that is obtained from sulphuric acid. It is named as VC-10. It has the same chemical properties of that of sulphuric acid but this chemical has different physical properties. Simple acid damages soil structure and is harmful for micro organisms. But this product is completely safe for soil health and nutrients / micro organisms. This can be used in soils having higher pH level. This product can reform the soil of lower pH and can deliver in the form of a higher yield of the crop despite having basic character in soil. This will become the main factor in production technologies of different crops. Technique of using this product can be very useful for soils of Punjab.
